Having a pro photographer as a tour guide can be very helpful and rewarding.
My name is David Schmidlapp. I have been a downtown Manhattan photographer / resident of 40 plus years. I can show you remarkable cityscapes along with hidden urban sites and provide ample opportunities for exceptional photography. My tours are a mini workshop for anyone who wants to create better urban pictures. I’m open to helping all levels of photographers – with an emphasis on creativity over digital gimmicks. All types of cameras are welcome, from the latest DSLRs, point and shoots, cell phones and yes, good old 35mm film cameras. As we walk, I’ll talk photography, about how to compose the city and how to get your shot no matter what the conditions. I’ll also talk the city; I’m able to tell you the city’s stories with each step we make.
I am offering weekly scheduled photo tours of High Line, Grand Central Terminal, Sunset Lower Manhattan/Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park along with my private photo tours, Anywhere/ Anytime NYC. Check out my blog for a bit about me, as well as recent tales, tours and reviews. Tours are held to small groups, and fill up fast. Book a photo tour with David by clicking on this link.
